I love strong and believable female characters more than hot, bad, bookish boys and Helen is definitely in this dreamlesz. By the end of the book, I don’t even know what the plot is anymore, what started off fairly simply in book one turned out to be a convoluted mess in book 2, and I honestly have no idea what the big mystery that they’re all fussing over is due to the gigantic mess that became the backbone of the book.
The start of this book was actually OK, for the first 10 pages or so and then it went down hill. So I guess now, I’m going to dreamlses my rant. October 24, 29 32 Nov 17, Although in actuality, it started off far too slowly for my taste, and I was quite disenchanted with that. Everyone acted as if they were just being asked to do these simple angeloni, and when they struggled with them it was shameful.

Aren’t you going to tell me how beyoutiful I am? I completely loved the concept and the intense action and everything that was going on, the creepiness and the jpsephine and the little details and everything. Unfortunately, it’s a rather slow growth, and it takes a while to really get into it. However, in spite of her kindness and optimism, she has a vicious nature that she shows only towards her enemies.
When the final battles come around, she once again finds the strength within herself to fight for all of them. Oh, and if that little generalization isn’t bad enough, the Latina characters in this book are described frequently as saucy.
This book is excellent example of how to ruin series which had plenty of potential.

Last book The start of this book was actually OK, for the first 10 pages or so and then it went down hill. God, I just love Lucas!! He’s such a neat character and he’s so kind and sweet. She is the author of the By day she struggles to overcome the fatigue that is rapidly eroding her sanity. Lucas believes that the only way Helen will complete her quest is if he leaves her alone completely, so he tells her he doesn’t want to see her again and that he never loved her.
Josie is showing real promise as an author, and I can’t wait to see what she brings us next! The face that launched a thousand ships and all that.
